well, we (Kurt and myself ) are working on a bigger and better outlet ... so faithful readers .. this 'll be closing down... right after Michael Moore documents our demise.

This is a performance clip form an afternoon in July '07. Related to the week long installation for the Citysol festival.

east river video

This is a short video I put up on youtube. In July '07 I did this piece, Slapp Happy, with Andrea Callard, that became a kind of "listening post" for a short stretch along the East River. This was for the Citysol festival. The idea was just to encourage people to listen (as always), and to notice the constant shifts in the sonic environment. The water's surface and the tubes coming out of it are amongst other things, a giant cumbersome envelope filter.The kind of thing you can download a plug-in to emulate, sort of.....The kind of social interaction that the piece generated was a nice bonus.
We used this site as the basis for a performance, also.
